Seeking Applications for Third Vice President and Director Positions

The MAMC Board of Directors is seeking applications for the office of Third Vice President, as well as several Director positions.

Third Vice President – Township/County
Qualified candidates for the office of Third Vice President must:

  • Have been an active member of MAMC for at least three (3) years, and
  • Have served at least two (2) years as a Director in any appointed position established by the President.

Director Positions
The following Director positions will expire at the June 2026 Conference and are eligible for application:

Two Year Terms

  • Township/County position – current seat of Joe Riker
  • Township/County position – Open (Rachelle Enbody seeking 3rd VP)
  • City/Village position – current seat of Jill Gruppen
  • City/Village position – current seat of Kyle Whitney

Partial One Year Term

  • City/Village position – current seat of Sarah Stoltzfus

Nominating and Election Process

Per Standing Rule 29, the slate of qualified officers shall be determined no later than the annual Election Meeting, held in conjunction with the Annual Conference, and listed in the conference brochure. Nominations for Director positions meeting eligibility requirements may also be accepted from the floor.

The Nominating Committee of Past Presidents will make every effort to recommend candidates who reflect geographic diversity not already represented on the Board and will consider the following criteria:

  • Years of experience as a municipal clerk
  • Demonstrated greater-than-average performance in the position
  • Active participation in county, state, and national associations
  • Demonstrated interest in professional and personal development and advancement of the profession
  • A record of contributing to community improvement and earning the respect of community leaders
  • Nominee must be a member of MAMC
